Review & Content Integrity Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This Review & Content Integrity Policy applies to Breathing Walls, an interior design studio based in Mumbai, operating since 2013, and to all content published about Breathing Walls on Google, Instagram, Facebook, and any other public platform.
Breathing Walls values honest client feedback and recognises the role reviews play in helping prospective clients make informed decisions. This Policy sets out what we consider a violation of that trust, how we verify and respond to such violations, and how genuine clients or members of the public can report a concern to us. By interacting with our studio, our staff, or our public profiles, you agree to the terms described in this Policy.
1. Definitions
"Fake Review" means any review, rating, comment, or testimonial published by a person who was never a client of Breathing Walls, who did not engage with us for design or execution services, or who has misrepresented their relationship with the studio.
"Defamatory Content" means any statement, written or visual, that is false and published with the intent or effect of damaging the reputation of the studio, its founder, its staff, or its completed projects.
"Impersonation" means the creation or use of any account, page, or profile that falsely claims to represent Breathing Walls, Amit Jangid, or any member of our team.
2. Content We Do Not Tolerate
The following categories of content are treated as violations of this Policy, regardless of the platform on which they appear:
Fake reviews. Reviews or ratings posted by individuals with no verifiable project, consultation, or client record with Breathing Walls.
False claims. Statements about our pricing, materials, timelines, staff conduct, or project outcomes that are factually incorrect or materially misleading.
Impersonation. Any account or communication that falsely presents itself as Breathing Walls or a member of our team.
Review-bombing. Multiple negative reviews posted in a short period by accounts with no genuine engagement history, particularly where such activity appears coordinated.
Harassment or threats. Public or private communication directed at our staff that is abusive, threatening, or intended to intimidate.
Misuse of project photography. Use, editing, or redistribution of our project photographs without authorisation, including presenting them as another studio's work or altering them to misrepresent the outcome.
3. Verification & Response Process
When a review or public statement about Breathing Wallsis flagged as a potential violation of this Policy, we follow a consistent process before taking any action:
Step 1 — Verification. We cross-check the author, account, and claims made against our internal client and project records.
Step 2 — Documentation. We record the content, associated account details, timestamps, and platform in question, retained as evidence for any future escalation.
Step 3 — Platform Reporting. Where content is confirmed to be fake, defamatory, or in breach of platform guidelines, we report it directly to Google, Meta, or the relevant platform for removal.
Step 4 — Legal Escalation. Where platform reporting does not resolve the matter, or where the content is clearly defamatory or malicious, we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies, including a formal legal notice.
4. Legal Basis
This Policy, and any action taken under it, is grounded in the following legal provisions applicable in India:
Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2022. These rules prohibit the publication of fake or misleading reviews and place obligations on platforms to act against them.
Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Defamation provisions). False statements published with intent to harm the reputation of a person or business may constitute defamation under Indian law.
Information Technology Act, 2000. This Act covers offences relating to impersonation, identity theft, and the misuse of computer systems or electronic platforms to cause harm to a business or individual.
Nothing in this section constitutes legal advice. It is provided to inform visitors of the legal framework that applies to review and content abuse in India.
5. Genuine Client Feedback
This Policy is not intended to discourage honest criticism. Clients who have genuinely engaged Breathing Walls for design or execution services are welcome and encouraged to share their honest experience, whether positive or negative. We do not report, dispute, or seek removal of a review solely because it reflects dissatisfaction with our work, provided the underlying claims are truthful and the reviewer is a verifiable client.
